State-run NTPC said its Rojmal wind energy project in Gujarat is fully commissioned, taking NTPC group's total capacity to 51,708 MW while that of NTPC at 44,492 MW.

Earlier this month, 40 MW of the project was commissioned.

"The 50 MW Rojmal wind energy project in Gujarat has been fully commissioned," NTPC said in a BSE filing.

With this, the total installed capacity of NTPC on standalone basis is now 44,492 MW and that of NTPC group is 51,708 MW, it said.

In a separate filing, the company said Central Electricity Regulatory Commission has decided the commercial operation date of Unit-1 (660 MW) of Barh Super Thermal Power Station as March 8, 2016 instead of November 15, 2014. The power regulator passed the order on a petition filed by GRIDCO of Odisha.

The company said it is studying the detailed order and would take all appropriate actions as available under the law.
